TCH Services improve quality of life, alleviate barriers to independence and help Arizonans reach their full potential. TCH provides early intervention and therapy for infants and toddlers, day activities and life skill instruction for adults, special day services for seniors, congregate living settings, attendant care, respite sitters, employment training and job placement.

ARTability is a consortium of state-wide theatre groups
and museums dedicated to providing services for disabled in Arizona through the idea of making art more accessible to wheelchair users and those with loss of vision and/or hearing. For more than 25 years, the Foundation for Senior Living (FSL) has worked to improve the quality of life for individuals and families, especially the most vulnerable members of our community. FSL offers services for disabled in Arizona facing issues of ability, aging, housing, illness and isolation. In Tempe, FSL operates Tempe Adult Day Health Care offering quality care from trained professionals, including nursing supervision, individualized care plans, nutritious meals and snacks, community outings, special events, recreational and social activities and transportation to and from the Centers.

The Tempe Community Council (TCC) was founded in 1972 to provide a means for individuals and organizations to act together to identify and plan for needed social service programs in our community. As part of the Tempe People Improvement Plan, TCC recently convened a volunteer citizen-based Task Force on Disability Issues to plan for the future needs of people with disabilities in Tempe. This report is available on the TCC website. TCC also provides planning, research, education and advocacy to improve the funding and policies effecting human services and functions as a program incubator.

Valley Center of the Deaf (VCD) is a private, non-profit, social service agency serving the deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened and deaf blind of Maricopa County. For over 25 years VCD has been providing a variety of services for disabled in Arizona with sensory disabilities including employment services, interpreting and a technology demonstration center. VCD also provides cultural and social activities such as golf tournaments, interpreted plays, picnics and sign language classes.

Advocates for the Disabled, Inc. (AFD), is a one-of-a-kind organization providing services for disabled in Arizona and offering a "hand-up" to disabled individuals of our community, when it comes to navigating through the Social Security Disability claims process and other social service needs. When one is sick, disabled, homeless/low income, or has the challenges of a behavioral health issue, securing benefits is a daunting task. AFD is often the "last link of hope" for many Arizona families. Since 1970, AFD has had an unduplicated Disability Claims Program. Since 1994, AFD has been providing a certified fiduciary program for individuals who have a payee manage their benefits. AFD also provides community outreach and education of its programs.
